Refund Policy

MindScapes Counseling & Consulting is committed to transparency, fairness, and respect for both clients and professional time. The following refund policy outlines how payments are handled for therapy and consulting services.

Therapy Services

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations

• Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice are not eligible for a refund.

• This policy is in place to honor reserved time and maintain availability for all clients.

Timely Cancellations

• Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for rescheduling.

• Refunds for therapy sessions are generally not issued once services have been rendered.

Consultations

• Consultation fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once the consultation has occurred.

• If a consultation is canceled with appropriate notice, rescheduling options may be offered.

Consulting, Speaking, & Community Services

• Fees for consulting, workshops, or speaking engagements are based on scope, preparation time, and service delivery.

• Refunds for consulting services are determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on notice provided and work completed.

• Deposits or pre-paid fees for consulting services are generally non-refundable once preparation or planning has begun.

Exceptional Circumstances

MindScapes Counseling & Consulting understands that unexpected situations can arise. Refund considerations for emergencies or extenuating circumstances may be reviewed at the discretion of the practice.

Insurance & Third-Party Payments

If services are billed through insurance or a third party, refund requests are subject to payer policies and contractual agreements.
