About Tasha

I chose mental health advocacy after more than 20 years of serving in the church, where I often witnessed people struggling in silence. I saw members in crisis, living with addiction, or battling depression, adolescents struggling in school,  yet too often they were ignored or turned away because the church didn’t have the tools or resources to respond. I realized that prayer alone was not enough — people needed real, trauma-informed support, evidence-based interventions, resources, and guidance through therapy.

My passion grew from both professional and personal experiences: walking alongside church members in crisis, witnessing my younger brother’s struggles with addiction, facing my own social anxiety, and recognizing the signs of depression in my son. These moments deepened my empathy and strengthened my resolve to provide authentic connection and advocacy.

Now, as Clinical Mental Health Therapist (PLPC), I bring that calling into MindScapes Mental Health Resources. Through psychoeducation, mentorship, and culturally responsive care, my mission is to equip individuals, families, and communities with the tools they need to heal, build resilience, and find hope.
